MTB Ride Saturday 4th September

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

MTB Ride Saturday 4th September

Hi folks

Anyone fancy some off road fun this Saturday? I was thinking of taking the Banstead/Epsom ride and extending it over towards Headley/Box Hill way. This way you get a longer ride and a chance to attack the Box Hill bridlepath  evil!

All pretty straightforward stuff, there are a couple of slightly madder descents but I take 'em easy and can get down fine and dandy. All do able by novice through to expert alike :D

So does anyone fancy it? I'm happy to start the ride at Coulsdon if that helps. Forecast looks good and there is a pub hidden away that we could maybe stop at on the way back if required

Pls post any interest here - and if none that's fine I'll just do my own thang.

Cheers - Snoop

Couldn't you extend it down to North Holmwood?

Nope - I have plans for later that afternoon, otherwise I would have. Of course that doesn't stop folk peeling off around Box Hill and heading down that way

boing? Just wondering if anyone fancies this. Be good if yes but AOK if no. If I hear nowt I will not detour to CSS for the start as that means I miss out on a lot of traffic free stuff early on.

I'm on a stag do this weekend i'm afraid Snoop but i'll be up for an MTB or road ride one evening next week (except Thurs).

Got a new bike mount for my super-torch to test out. This one isn't made of dust by a 5 year old either.....
Actually, it probably was made by a 5 year old but was £9 instead of the $2 I paid for the last one.

Cheers Dan. Looks like I'm on a solo get myself lost tomorrow - will pack an extra Mars Bar :D

Next week I'm joining the Love To Ride night ride down at Abinger, all around holmbury and pitch hill. Tuesday evening starts at 7pm for 2 hours then a beer in the Volunteer pub. I'll need to leave Wallington by 6pm to make it. If you wanna join me and could get to mine for 6 latest I can chuck your bike in the back on top of mine - will be a late return but a cracking good off road ride. I'll give you first dibs and then throw it open to others

Snoop, I was thinking of doing something similar tomorrow so could meet you at Wallington Cycles. Did you mention a time ? I would suggest 9.00 or earlier (8.30) if you prefer.

OK Snoop, see you at 9.

Not free this Sunday, Sylv, (doing something called the Tour of Cornfields) but need to do something like that soon. CX season is fast approaching and I've been lazy about cycling for the last month.
