Road Racers TT: Mosquito V ACC

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Gotta be George, Paul, Jon in one team. We need a fast "Ringo" to join them. My nomination goes to Sylv after last nights 3rd.

I did this last year with the Shadow, Chris S and Gavin- never been in so much pain in all my life  . I fully intended to drop out after the first lap and let the younger lads take the glory.
It never went quite like that  and i had my @rse well and truly kicked up hill and down dale by the others.
Its not an entirely flat course.
Hope the link works....

Arras a lovely town- i have been there many times, 2 big squares a stones throw apart. Jo and I rode over to there for the TTT- which was the first time US postal won the TTT- i think.
Moules et frittes, deux grande leffes brun- sil vous plait- sharpish mate we are starvin' an' thirsty! ( apols sylv)

Thanks for the generous praise Sylv, I think you need a bit of experience to ride these things well as a team and I would give it 110%, although a bit daunting with George and Paul.......still I'd knock them into shape.

Unfortunately, it is my son's graduation in :P Cambridge that day. I've already told him how inconvenient it is, but he couldn't get it changed

I'll just have to save myself for the TDF ride next day :D

Can't remember which colour foil it was Ian although red springs to mind...

Anyway, just wondered if you had any other gems to share with me about arras. Places to eat/drink, things to do/see?

I have been there before but can't remember much of it, i am staying right in town so i can have as many uber strong flemishish (is that a word?) beers as i like :)
