Does anybody want?

Postby tel » Wed Sep 08, 2010 11:03 am

About 5 years` ago I cobbled together a bike to sit permanently on my turbo. It is now time to replace it.

The frame is a bit rusty here an there, but I think it looks worse than it really is.

The components are functional-Chainset is 105 and only done a few miles on the road-mainly turbo work.

STis are Ultegra, but the right one is Muellered but can be used on turbo.

Bars are old Cinellis and narrow. The stem is ahead entry level and short.

The rear mech, I think is Sora and only been used on the turbo and the front mech is Campy and old.

No wheels I`m afraid.

So if anybody wants to pick this up from Sutton they are more than welcome.

Size 56-Its an ex-Linda McCartney race bike (steel). I`m 5ft 9in and it is just a little too big for me, if you are 5ft 10ish to 6ft should fit a treat.

I might be able to find a rear wheel that might help.

A wire brush, some paint stripper and a couple of spray cans will make it look a lot better.

Landline No: 020 8641 9651-home most eve after 6ish.

Dan

I also ride 54-And I have trained on it for years. If you only want it for turbo work it will be fine with the shortish stem which is on it. Why don`t you give it a go?

Thanks all the same Terry but i'll give it a miss. Wanted a turbo/winter bike really.
Had a bit of trouble with my back and positioning so I don't want to go upsetting that now i'm settled.
I think that by the time I sort wheels and get the other bits working, I could probably buy a 54cm bike off gumtree or something.
Thanks anyway.

No worries Dan. Hope you sort something out.

So does anybody else want my old bike.

Might get £20ish for the chainset.
