Free TV

I'm going to get a new LCD tele soon so will have no need for my current TV, if anyone is interested then let me know and I'll be in touch when I go shopping so you can collect it.

It is an old style i.e. a CRT and not LCD box but is still in superb condition and would be a shame to take it to the tip. If you don't want it but know a charity that would then send me their details too.

It is a Philips matchline 28" widescreen with stand
It has pixel plus technology which gives an enhanced picture quality (it has a beautiful picture).
It has virtual surround sound with 2 small wireless speakers for behind the viewer which make films great to watch. There are a number of surround modes including dolby digital and a mode called hall which is good for concert DVDs as it makes the sound come evenly from the whole room.
I'm pretty sure I still have the original manual to help with set up, mainly for the surround spreakers.
It has four scart sockets and various other inputs so you could connect a full surround sound system.
It is 10 years old and was top of the range at the time, and cost £1,200.
It has great picture and sound quality has never put a foot wrong and will still perform without fault for another 10 years I'm sure.

I realise it is "old fashioned" now but it would be a pity to let the men at the dump fight over it.

My cats enjoy the odd bit of TV now and again, I'll ask them if they can make use of it :D
