Free to good home - Veet & Benadryl

Postby Amy » Sun Sep 23, 2012 12:14 pm

Been having major clear out of bathroom and found these...

Veet Ready to Use Wax Strips - 20. Yeah, I know, bit late in the season  No idea how long I've had them so if you know they go off after awhile tell me and I'll bin them. Got them to try but never got the nerve up  I'll just stick to razors (found a few of those in the dark recesses of the bathroom cupboard....)

Benadryl One a Day Relief - 2 packs of 7 (minus 1 from 1 pack). I know I bought one pack when I thought I had a slight allergic reaction to something. Expiry date 08/2016. Might as well go to someone who needs them more than me.

Can bring out on club run next week or even post them.

Hi Amy, fancy meeting for a short cake ride on Wednesday? You could bring the Benadryl tablets along and I'll swap you a slice of cake (or cup of tea, your choice) for them.

This has to be a coded conversation.

Perhaps Edgar will be along later to explain?

Sorry, Grahame, can't do this Wednesday as up in London. In fact I'm not free this week till Thursday - the hedonism of being unemployed... but I'll hang onto them for you till a more opportune time in exchange for cake :D

Keith, shhhh!

For some reason, the headline "chocolate may create opium-like cravings" keeps popping up at the top of the laptop screen... George Macdonald Fraser was onto something when he wrote Pyrates

I believe it's only intended for use on legs.

Is it going to a bad home?

Honestly, no charge. I just can't remember how long I've had it so maybe it won't work as well or even work at all - though it's all sealed in plastic foil. But I can't find a use before date on it so assume it's still usable.

Forgot to say it's for sensitive skin, so can be used on other areas

Well, Bazza asked about it but I've not heard anything since or even know who he is, so it looks like it's yours, George (you may say it's for your wife, but we know, really, it's for you  )

Unless you want it sooner, I'll bring it out next Saturday :D
