Keep them Matt if you only have one other pair of wheels. Always useful to have a spare pair. If you ride one bike all year then put some tough tyres on like Conti 4seasons or Vittoria Pave and use them as winter wheels. In winter with a lot of rubbish on the road, dirty water, grit, salt etc, it can be wearing on components and braking surfaces on wheels. A tough set of wheels, these look okay with lots of spokes, is a boon in winter to save your nice kit.

I hadn't thought of that actually. That's a good idea!
