Our Agreeable newbie "Bald-Rick on the Bianchi" is looking to buy his son a new or second hand bike so he can ride with us in the ACC.

He is 13 years old and about 5'5" tall. He is a great all round sportsman and I think will become a great asset to the club in the future.

I think if it looks good and fits, he will have it.

P.S Rick is very tight in the wallet department :roll:

, so the lower the price the better :lol:

i have a 50cm bianchi but for 5ft 5" might be a tad big. it was my first road bike at 12/13, but dad might want to keep it.
if 50cm is alright, then i'll send the spec.

I do have about half of a 48cm Cannondale (frame, forks, headset, stem, BB, bars) but not a whole bike.

That's pretty much as small as they go (I now ride a 51cm)

It's also got an ugly dent under the chainstay. But it will be cheap!

I have a black Scott road bike hanging in the shed doing nothing. Its about 4 years old and was not used much. I would be willing to loan it to "Bald-Rick on the Bianchi". for his son then he can save his pennies and buy son something nice and "carbony" once his son has decided he likes riding.

pm us with a number and you can arrange to come and collect it.

Im about the same height so it should be ok he may want to change the pink bar tape (and im not willing to share my rare and begged for pink tyres) but i guess that wont worry a 13 year old boy. It is a mans frame

well, unfortunately my bro has piped up and says he might want ride a bike sometime in the near future, and he's 10/11. So sorry, the bianchi bike is not for sale.
