Anyone have MTB tyres to swap? new tyres too wide for frame!

Basically I have a set of Continental Vertical (26 x 2.3) tyres with less than 30 miles on them, the problem is they are too wide for my hybrid frame and they rub near my BB.
Anyone got any old MTB tyres to swap? not too fussy about tread or even condition, anything from 1.75 to 2.1 width would be ace.

I have some michelin dry tyres.

Alex - I live in Carshalton and have some spares knocking about. I think I've got a pair suitable for on road use, not proper skinnes but getting there. Prob got others too - if interested pm me and u can come take a look see. I'm around this evg.

1.5 inch wide? hmm i think i might pass on those, im trying not to make this bike a 3rd road bike ;D
