Ride Sunday 6th February to Cobham

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Ride Sunday 6th February to Cobham

Not quite sure how I got stuffed for this one - I thought I would just be sitting at the back of Del's group

However, Del has been poorly so I suggested my ride to Cobham (that's Surrey, just off the A3...). Do come along - I have a fairly varied route planed. I won't mention the h-word but there might be a bit more climbing than on the cr but I'm sure you'll still beat me up any h***s

9.30am at CSS - do come along :D

Hi Amy

What time do you anticipate getting back to Coulsdon South?

Hopefully about lunchtime... Not having actually ridden the route and no idea what the pace will be (other than not fast...)

Well in the end there were five of us:

Amy, Serge, Peter, John and myself.

Amy led out as although Del did set out with the intent of taking the group he turned back as he did not feel quite ready after his recent op.

It was an excellent, if somewhat windy ride out to Cobham on several new roads for me including and a wonderfully long gentle decent of Ranmore which made the climb up from Dorking all the more worthwhile.

Good group to ride with and a very pleasant cafe break at the Walled (or was it Magic?) garden at Cobham. Scrambled egg with Chorizo.

Nice ride back, again through unfamiliar territory to arrive in Banstead area where I peeled off for home.

Anyway to prove we did it..

.. . if I can work out how to include photos off the mobile...

Thanks again Amy and guys - good Ride!

Sorry Amy - I WAS up in time but 'Mrs F' has horrrible cold and I was too kind to abandon her. Sounds as if I missed out. Never mind - I'm sure there'll be more.

Sorry to hear Mrs F was unwell - yes, you've been rightly earning your brownie points looking after her today.

Andy, it's called the Medicinal Garden.
