19mph ride to cranleigh Fridiay 22nd

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

I plan on riding out to Cranleigh on Good friday. 9am start at CSS. The route is quite hilly and will take in the CR to newdigate and then Capel, Forest green, Ewhurst. Stop for a Coffee in Cranleigh then back via shere/westcott Ranmore and Boxhill. The busiest section of the route will be a few miles of A25. the ride will be about 65 miles and we will be regrouping on the hills. Aim to be back about 1-2pm. let me know if there are any takers. I love bank holidays :D

Serge, I might come along if I can get out. I know a really good hilly route to Cranleigh which am happy to share, although if you want to stick with your route that is fine.

Cheers

Average moving speed was only 16.8mph, we are slowing down in our old age. I had 140km on the clock when I got home and just under 2,000 metres of climbing, not bad for a April bank holiday.

Cheers for the company guys, really enjoyed that, hope you liked the route.

A leg blitzing route yesterday, but REALLY good.
I had no idea we had those grades of hill in the UK?!
Great ride, great company, thanks for dragging me round.

That is one of my favorite Surrey routes. Church climb to Ranmore, descend into Dorking, Coldharbour to the top of Leith, descend towards Ockley, then Tanshurst lane (wet and grimy, slip slider), Cranleigh and the special 21%er, into Shere for a top of of drinks and then Whitedown, descend the Church climb and then up Box Hill. On a sunny day that is a tough ride to beat.

Cheers
