We left about 9:30 and took a short ride to Woodmensterne where we stopped for a photo break. Fantastic place for photos with the tree behind. Even more amazed you fitted us all in the picture, thank god for wide angle lenses.
Another jaunt up to Epsom Race Course for another photo break with glorious views of London (Wembley and The Shard easily identifiable), and the Grandstand as the backdrops.
Off we go again down past the course where we got to say hi to some other riders, although these definately only had 1 horse power each. Then up a gravel path for those brave enough, come off the packed stuff and it was scary stuff.
All agreeing to take the longer route to Walton and a bite to eat at Cafe Chocolat, what a nice location with the pond and great food and drink from the cafe.
Now back towards Coulsdon which amazing came so quick mainly due to the long downward slope
.Now coffee and cake at Nonna's,yum.
A lovely leisurely ride on a lovely sunny day.
Looking forward to the club run next week. And even more so getting my new ride so I can join you on the Brighton run, as it looks like you all had a ball. Although I am guessing 1 spare tube might not be enough by the looks of what I read.
