Hi All,

It's the ACC President's 10 Time Trial @ North Holmwood this coming Saturday so I and a number of VCs won't be out ([url=http://www.addiscombe.org/members/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13063]details[/url]) - have fun, be good and ride safe.

The rides for [size=150]SATURDAY 17th SEPT[/size] are as follows...

the Regular Club Run to Charlwood meet 9.00 @ CSS...15,16,17,18,19 and 20 mph groups + TGA and TGB

Regular then via Rocky Lane, Fanny's Farm, Chipstead, Nonnas:

One of the club members got knocked off at the bottom of Stoats Nest Road in Coulsdon after the club run. Was it Wayne? Please can someone let us know if the person who got knocked off is ok as the police waved us through

I gather it was young George who was knocked off. Alan (Thruston) said a car had just pulled out without seeing him and side-swiped him. Understandably he was in shock but Alan looked after him along with an off duty fireman until the ambulance arrived. Hopefully George is okay once they've given him a once-over at the hospital and isn't unnerved by it.

Alan got the driver's details and those of 3 witnesses so hopefully the insurance can be sorted out smoothly for George, and any police action that is needed can be taken with there being witnesses.

hi guys im alright no major injuries. got the insurance done im getting £2500 for injuries and my bike.

Glad to hear you're okay George and the insurance is going to be sorted quickly. There are better and less painful ways to make a few quid though .
