MTB RIDE THIS SUNDAY TO HILLCLIMB COMP

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Marco I may be up for this. How far is the ride from East Croydon roughly? Just trying to work out if it is doable to ride from home, to East Croydon, on to Titsey Hill and home again - looks like being 20 miles home, and 15 at least to East Croydon station - so a biggish day out on the MTB.

What sort of time is the Hill Climb usually done by?

Titsey is 10-11 miles from ECBR depending on your route - googlemap link if it works.

The first rider is off at 2.01pm and the last rider (Germain Burton) is off at 3.25pm, all at 1 minute intervals. Germain will take about 1m45s to finish so all wrapped up by 3.30pm.
Rider list and start times are here.
If I ever do this event again, I swear I'm gonna wear a hat!

This is indeed the reason the cycling cap is so popular at hill climbs :) .

Thanks Marco for organising a great day out. Great riding and great company. I enjoyed the hill climb too - next year might have a go at that! Don't suspect I'll cause young Mr Burton any concerns though!
