Holiday MTBs? Leith Hill 29/31 Dec and MTB Bank Hol 3 Jan

Hi everyone,

Just thought I'd gauge interest in a New Year's Eve (mid-morning to mid-afternoon) trip to Leith Hill - literally your last chance of 2010 to take on Barry Knows Best, Yoghurt Pots and - appropriately enough - Christmas Pudding. If interested, please post here and we'll work out details next week.

Shame about that - but there could be another option (see below). Weather forecast is OK for Weds so Aodan if you're still on for it, I'll meet you and anyone else who'd like to come along on Wednesday at 1030 at the bus shelter opposite Peaslake Village Stores. I'll be going by train - anyone else interested in coming that way, let me know and I'll give you details.

As a possible alternative to NYE, which looks like it clashes with other things, and for people who can't make 29th due to work, how about an MTB ride on Bank Holiday Monday 3rd January to welcome the new year and beat the end-of-holiday blues? Either Leith Hill again or somewhere more local.

My MTB hasn't seen any mud this year so I'll look forward to joining up tomorrow.I haven't checked gears etc for a while so if I'm not there at 10.30 then assume I've had a problem and can't make it.

My bike is a bit messed up so I need to do some fettling later. Hopefully I'll be able to sort it out.

If I'm not there at 10:30 then it will mean that my bike is broken so please don't bother waiting...
