We had a nice ride today with no mishaps and the forecast is a bit warmer.

met office shows a balmy 1 degree celsius rather than this mornings -4.

Thanks Steve & Rogan for a good ride. Was very nice to be back on the road. 
Paul drove down to show us how well the heater worked in his car
. (Actually he was coming down with a lurgy, so drove down to CSS to let us know - Thanks Paul.)
No takers for Amy's ride? Thought some others may have been out. 3°C when we left, getting up to a near tropical 5°C by the time we got back. Didn't feel like it though when we stepped out of McD's after a much needed cuppa.

Keith, didn't Dan make it? He only arrived minutes after you left - I'd just turned out of the station approach and was shouting at him. Paul returned in his car and said he'd give Dan a tow back up to you...
And no, Keith, no takers. Could try again tomorrow if people put their name down on here (on my post). Did a short loop round and got a few miles in but it was hard work heading into that wind and I still needed defrosting after even that short time out in the cold
Seems to have got colder in my flat so I've put the emergency heating on just to warm it up - the cat is now upside down in front of it, toasting her tummy nicely
