Club Run Sat 4 Dec 2010

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Nice shots Aodan! Good move bringing the camera, it's hard to prove our insanity without one!

Great pics Aodan.
First ride out with the mountain biking crew. That was tough going riding through the snow but at least we could ride, it was almost impossible to on the slushy stuff. Really enjoyed it, a great laugh :D
Rode up Chipstead Valley Rd to Tadworth and down the A217 to home just to get some extra miles in. Cold wet and v tired legs.
Thanks for the ride guys :D

Well as far as a wheel sucking slush fest goes yesterday was great! Lovely to see a good crowd out - was a shame that we didn't get a bit further but the thaw the night before made for very tough going off road. Lots of laughs and I hope that folk like Steve joining in for the first time will be encouraged to come back again. As I'm learning there are loads of interesting places to ride in and around our area that give you a totally different perspective on the kind of place we live.

Cheers - Snoop

Hello again.

Had loads of fun out there until it wore off and we all dove in the pub. Great pics Aodan and thats for those odd little hints and tips out there.

That was the toughest slowest ride I have ever done about 5mph average  . Wouldn't of missed it for the world, even falling off 4 times made me laugh as the landing was so soft.

:D We must do that again soon. Can't name you all, but thank you one and all for a superb ride.

Haven't walk so much in a long while
It was tough going over Riddlesdown with the snow knee deep in places and traction non existent made it all the more fun.

Not sure how Phil the power managed to mend his chain in the cold but he did and we decided that we would find somewhere to have a coffee as we had no crampons which were needed if we were to continue off road.

Not the friendliest of staff in the pub in Warlingham but good coffee and hot chocolate along with the odd beer, warmed us enough for the journey home.

The decent of succumbs hill was er interesting and the drag up Burntwood lane tiring.

Still don't know how MM managed 5 mph, he must have been walking faster than the rest of us.

Glad I went and can't wait for the next one. Will bring the hard tail next time and pump the tyres up as it was hard going pushing the full sus With 30 psi in them. :)
