No sure how many were at CSS - perhaps 50/60 and considering the cold not a bad turn out. A largish TG rolled out at 9.10, a small 19, a big 18, and then
with no sign of Sam I took a small but 'strong 17' of five riders - Brian, Lindsey, Le Nick, Colin and myself. A good workout - no hiding place - we all did our bit pulling things along and really picked things up towards the end. Le Nick won the KoM at Rusper, I won the prime at Lambs Green and Colin (who sat in forever!) got the jump on all of us and won the sprint - I led it out for what seemed like miles and had nothing left but still hung on for 2nd.
We averaged just over 17.5 mph - which given we were a 'strong 17' was just about perfect. Nice!
