Mayday Bank Holiday mtb ride

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Martin, that sounds pretty horrible. Having dislocated both shoulders at the same time in an accident, I can only imagine how you screame :( . Hope your wife gets some earplugs for the next few weeks. she'll need them.

Get well soon.

Thanks chaps for your words of support. :D

I dont remember the incident clearly but it was quite a fast downhill section.

I must have caught something on the trail as I remember flying off it at an angle, pretty sure I hit a tree and that flung me back onto the trail. If you can imagine what it would feel like to hit a brick wall at 20MPH, that's about it.

I was very lucky not to have sustained a fracture and that Marco and the boys did such a good job with my rescue. :D

Once I get the use of my arm back I'll be back out again

To be fair, that bike deserved to be destroyed...........I picked it up to remove it off the trail whilst Martin was being attended, and I was shocked by how much it weighed. How Jevon managed to propel it up down and around Leith Hill all day, with just a KitKat for breakfast, is beyond me.........don't mess with Jevon is all I can say - the geezer's well'ard :D
