Fair enough Arne and Taz that you didn't want to risk it. Maybe I was just lucky with where my route took me, but after 10 minutes of light drizzle leaving Coulsdon it was perfectly dry for the next 5 hours, and sunny quite a lot of it.

Let's hope next week's weather is not so uncertain. So far the long-range forecast for Saturday is 24 degrees and sunny.
