Over the Hill Gang mid week rides

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

I have updated and posted the winter rides at the top of this thread, usually a little shorter but just as much fun. I have been asked to remind you that although all are invited the OHG was originally set up for the over 50's to ride socially and it was never intended to be training for races. There are now two groups fast and slow both on Tuesdays and Thursdays so there is a choice of ride and target average speeds have been set for each group. Please be aware of some sensitivity if you push the pace beyond these targets. Generally, at least in the faster groups, riders may step up the pace, particularly towards the tea stop and at some well known sprint points but it settles back afterwards. I usually try and do at least one of these rides each week and I know that those of you who are regulars or have joined us from time to time speak favourably of the company and the routes. Looking forward to seeing you whenever you can find the time for a mid week ride. Alan

Attempted to go out on this but a stiff back and what felt like a stiff head wind meant I must have just missed them at Betchworth. Tried to ride after them with someone else who was late but I couldn't shift the stiff back so gave up and came back home after doing a little loop in the lanes.

Not all gloomy - got told by a white van passenger what a lovely @rse I had  Wondered why they weren't in a hurry to get past me down Pebble
