Matt and I will be chaingang-ing tomorrow Thursday 12th @ 7.40pm CSS, Gatwick route.

Planning a hard one but anyone welcome to tuck in behind and take whatever turns they want to. Anyone who gets dropped will be picked up on the way back.

Cheers for that , but I'm spinning tommorrow . I'll be out Saturday , with a view of trying to go with the training group , just not sure what to expect . Have been doing lots of training , but not sure if I would be out of my depth . Any advice would be appreciated .

Just give it a go, you have nothing to lose - if you get dropped you can just wait for the next group to come along and ride with them. And you don't have to do any work at the front if you can't. Just need to be confident holding wheels closely otherwise you will be doing unnecessary work and tiring yourself.

A great ride tonight, the three of us. Ghaleb is a power monster.

On the way back when we took the bus sliproad by the airport, he took to the front, the pace dipped a notch and I thought he was finally tiring down .. but no, the legs soon started slowly gaining momentum, spinning faster and faster seemingly endlessly like as there was no air resistance, to the point where I was barely hanging on .. it was like watching the turbine of one of the nearby planes firing off .. it was beautiful
