Road ride Monday 3rd January

Is anyone planning a ride for tomorrow? Nothing too fast or far as I am in pretty bad shape. Anyone got any ideas?

Cool, will meet you at CSS for 9am. Seriously, I am not in good shape at the moment, was my first ride for over a month today on the mtb. It was painful.

I was thinking of a ride tomorrow but I'll be even slower than Alan, especially on the hills...

I was also thinking of making it a last-social-before-some-of-us-go-back-to-work How about coming back along Chipstead valley and stopping at the Ramblers pub?

Ill hope to be there tomorrow at 9am but apart from the occasional commute into work have not been on the club run for a good few months. Would like to do the same route the training group are doing but these days could not keep with that pace. Will see what pans out in the morning I suppose.

If the training route does the sportive route that is 85 miles hard and hilly. Not in my plan, but I will be there at 9. So moderate pace and a tea stop somewhere.

The training group will be riding just the first and last few miles of the sportive route so not the full 85 miles.

If it is Icy tomorrow then I may not show up, I have to leave mine at 8am so if very cold I might not make it as don't like riding the lanes when ice on the road.

Sam and i will be out for a short ride(about 3 hours) but not leavin redhill until 10.00 10.30. anyone fancy a later start welcome!

Rob R E and myself will be leaving the feathers @ 9.30, riding thru -reigate-betchworth-brockham-newdigate-capel-ockley-forest green-oakwoodhill-weare street-capel-rusper, then having a proper coffee at Tanhouse farm shop. Maybe a slice of cake as well
All speeds catered for- even Marek
straight home afterwards- reverse ferret of the CR- no one left behind.
We will have left the fevs by 9.35.

Funny, I was thinking of a route taking in Weare Street but I would seriously find a warmer tea stop than Tanhouse - it's not that warm even inside
