Hilly 50 - 5th March (this Saturday)

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

What time does it begin. The Ballbuster which Andrew is riding out to watch begins at 0800.
There will probably be overlaps.

Will Slv and Lucy be doing both events

It's a 10:00 start. I seem to recall from last year the ballbuster was still on when we got to the finish. Nice to get some cheers from the crowd.

Yep Hilly 50s a relaxed start time. Not brilliant planning having both on the same day, and it's not the first time.
I doubt I'll watch all the ballbuster, just taking it in to offer a bit of support as part of a spin as I don't want to do a full CR tomorrow due to riding out and racing on Sunday.

More likely than not if I can prise myself away from the CR.
If I do I'll take the direct route to Ryka's - A23, A25, B2038, A24.
Am I wrong to assume  will take a more scenic route :?:

Where are the people who are doing it meeting for the ride down? I'm crap map reading and knowing routes, so I'd be more than happy to come along, if there are no takers then it'll be the CR for me.

Chipstead Valley Marcus. To get to Ryka's you'd go down Box Hill and the Ballbuster will be well under way so you'd have to careful. Fine if only a handful of people though. Alternatively you could drop down Pebble Hill and along the A25 to the CR turn off for Box and get to Ryka's from the bottom.

I shall go from home to Ryka's via Sutton, Cheam, Ewell (through Nonsuch Park), Epsom, Ashtead, Leatherhead...

I think what I was trying to say was - if people, like Mr Avery, wanted to ride out there with me, they can do. I plan to leave normal time (as for a CR) at about 8.30am to give myself time to get there and sign on otherwise it's a bit chaotic...

Sadly i must give this a miss. Doctor's (well, physio's) orders. :(
Shame as weather looks perfect, crisp and sunny.

I will be taking the route I outlined above.

I'll be at the A23 junction with Shepherds Hill (This is just after the dual carriageway section at the beginning of the club run) around 0845 then will continue along A23 to Reigate then along the A25 taking a right at Pixham Lane (B2038) then then A24 to Ryka's.

Aiming to get there around 0930 at 16/17 pace all welcome.
