Jon, perhaps you should rename these posts - to reflect that they have Sunday rides as well as Saturdays rides - and even Wednesday rides

And add the weather forecast or link - just in case it's raining :(

Well, perhaps not worry about Marco's rides as he always puts them on the forum - so how about "Rides this weekend 19/20 March" (when there's a Sunday ride).

I'm just thinking about helping to make people aware of the Sunday rides - people looking for a Sunday ride aren't really going to look at a post that seems to be about the normal Saturday club run

Either that or we put a separate post for each Sunday ride? Though putting it together with the Saturday cr makes it more 'official'...

Another good day and good ride :D

Went off with the training group today struggled at a few places but managed to keep hanging on until a few miles before the dual carraige way I dropped, but managed to get back on when the group stopped to regroup. On the way back I went with our Captins group through boxhill, it was a good social ride got talking to the bunch and to Martin about his first race and wether I should try it out. I might give it a go lets see what happens :)

Common Ghaleb, you're ready to race. I can promise you a 4th or 3/4 race won't be as hard as a training group ride. So what are you waiting for  :D

Things may have changed since the last time you rode with the TG, Toks. Nowadays we might take a nice gentle jaunt through the Surrey countryside. :D

Was a fairly gentle TG jaunt today :D

Nice ride today, steady pace all the way with a depleted TG as most of the regulars are away training. Despite feeling a bit crap all week fighting a cold I felt good today, feel as though my form is improving every week. Obviously doing something right :D Was quite a respectable ride as far as the drag up to Rusper when Keith attacked which mixed things up a bit. Followed him for a bit before launching a counter attack and passing everyone to get to the top, kept going hard just to see if my legs would keep going and they did I'm pleased to to say.

Quick T&O and on to the lanes heading towards Charlwood. Steve B blew his rear out on a pot hole (his rear tyre that is) Siad he was ok and told me to go on, caught back up with the group and waited for the sprint. No big attacks so I hit the front and wound things up but backed off when I heard a strange grinding sound coming from my rear end...still don't know what it was???

Nice sit in the sun at the cafe then off again, Keith soon got itchy legs again and attacked after a few miles. Feeling good again I dragged everyone up past the golf course and onto the climb up to the church pushing hard again. Run back to Nonas was a blast, Keith turned back at the top of Merstham drag leaving Steve B, Richard and me flying back and Steve and I having a painful bus lane battle again. Nice to ride in some warm sunshine despite a chilly start.

Might get my race licence sorted soon and do a bit of racing myself this year.

Cheers all :D

Nice little ride today. Went to Corridori to pick up Tom's new bike, short ride out through the lanes around Mugswell, along Chipstead High Road and down for a short pitstop and Nonna's before heading up over Farthing Down then back across the top of Merstham and up past Fanny's Farm. I think he took the advice about lower gears to heart - they'll listen to anyone except their parents.

Out for the Sunday CR tomorrow. New rule is that I must go up Leith Hill every weekend - or so it seems.

I'm good mate, still loving cycling just not doing any myself. I look forward to hearing about yours and the racing exploits of the other ACC boys and girls. Actually me not cycling isn't strictly true I rode around Battersea Park with one of my clients on one of those Barclays bikes yesterday -jesus those bikes are heavy brutes! Keep up your training
