WEDS RIDE - return of summer

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

You can up the pace a smidgeon this week, as I won't make it early on. But hope to make a quick dash down to Downe cafe for the social aspect (and cake!)

Steep descent, longish drag out? Hessiers is the descent, Beddlestead the longish drag.

Ok, its Clarks Lane, then onto Pilgrims Way. But we did go down Beddlestead and up Hessiers on the way back :D

Sorry to miss you, folks. Instead, I went for a nice walk with Jean and dog Buddy round Staffhurst Woods, out Edenbridge way. Thinking of going out to track around the Olympic road race course, big Surrey loop; got to make the most of this late Summer burst. :)

I'm off work on Friday, so could be up for an Olympic lap on Friday morning, but I need to be back in Bromley by 1:30pm latest.

Always fun going up Hessiers eh Lucy :D . With the bend at the bottom often having a bit of gravel coupled with the narrowness means you can't carry any momentum at it.

Sorry I can't make Friday, Graham. I see Lucy's intending a ride out Kent way on Friday; maybe you could persuade her to get ready for the Olympics?
