Sunday Training Ride 23 Oct

On road, off road, round in a big circle or down to the coast, we do the lot. We don't just do it at all speeds and for all levels, we do it Agreeably as well!

Sunday Training Ride 23 Oct

Anybody up for some Sunday Training Rides?

The idea would be a steadier endurance pace ride. The pace would be suitable for TG B or A riders.

I will start with a 2 hour ride this sunday if there is any interest.

Yep. I could do with some steady miles in me legs. Not sure if I can do this Sunday Paul but certainly up for doing a few over winter.

Can't make this Sunday, but what sort of time would you be leaving if it was a regular thing?

5 of us turned up in the end - not bad for the first one.

Cheers for the ride lads.

Nice one, Paul. This looks like another great idea. Tell me more - where, how far and how fast??

Ilya, dan, Rich, Paul and myself rode the Sunday training ride together. :D
We headed up the climb over Happy valley for a lovely fast ride to Edenbridge. The pace was fairly brisk with everyone taking turns pulling from the front although Dan did like to half wheel everyone and do the lions share of the work in the first half. After a fast tonk up along the A22 we turned off towards Lingfield where Rich did this massive pull that Paul and I were breathing out our behinds just to hang on in there.
Then Paul and I gapped the rest up crockham hill where Dan and Rich were paying for their earlier efforts.
Along Pilgrims way we were joined by another rider who in trying to keep up with us fell off and had a fair bit of gravel rash :( , we did stop to check he was ok, then he continued with us for the next big climb up Titsey and White lane where Paul managed to get to the top first. A quick cuppa at Beaver World with a fast blast back down into Suberbia.
A great ride out with guys I think we all really enjoyed it, We worked hard all the way so pretty constant for over 2 hours just what we wanted, a longer slightly steadier effort than the Saturday training group. :D
