Club 10 (2-up), 22 June 2010

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

[quote="Robert"]Hi Jon, has the start sheet gone out? What time is the intended "kick off"? :o

I'll be sending it out this evening. 8pm start.

Hi Jon,

Sorry for the short notice, Dad can't make this now due to a double booking - he already had some concert tickets booked and didn't realise. Please can I enter as a solo.

Thanks, Bridget

Hi Mark,

Sorry, just seen this. Yes, can do, if Jon doesn't mind. I shall get there before 8pm anyway and ride as a solo if you don't see this, or a 2-up if you do :)

Great!
Checked with Jon so we're OK. I'm riding down so will see you there. Will be passing GB's at 6.15ish if anyone else is riding down.

Thanks to everyone who enabled it to happen- Jon H, Tim, Joyce, pushers, marshalls, et al - and to everyone who took part. what a great evening's racing. Lovely weather, great atmosphere. 31 riders in all - which has got to be a bit of a record for an evening 10 certainly in the last 4 years or so. and no one was sick.

Sam suffered for most of the ride but he's as tough as old boots so we still managed to beat our two-up PB - so we were pleased :D :D . almost a perfect night had I not had my VDO computer fall off on the dual carriage way to be crushed to bits by a Jag. a perfect hit - I'm sured he aimed for it!!!

no pay rise for two years - so it's going to have to a cheap cateye wireless replacement - welcome to austerity Britain!!!

I very nearly was as I got back to the car park. Funnily though, I wasn't the one feeling the worst in our 2-up
