No doubt he'll be sneering at my team (Yeti) for having entered the "fun" class, which we won, and not the "competitive". I'd agree with him, but hey I'm not the one who filled the entry form. They only did that so they could race against the other team, which got second. And the girls team, one of which had only ridden off road a handful of times, got 2nd.
Anyway Richard's team (whacky racers) did brilliantly considering they were one man down, and that they were riding hardtails on a bone-dry rutty course.
