Palace tonight?

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Palace tonight?

I don't THINK so.

The weather which was due to clear to bright sunny spells by this evening, hasn't - it's currently p****g down in the Croydon/Palace area so not much chance of the bottom bend drying out.

Please don't come anywhere near Hainault tomorrow, Huw.

We don't want any of your steenking rain at the Beastway.

Yeah, cos it's gonna be sunny all day, and by evening the course will be nice and dry again

no, on my route home I went by Palace and it was still pouring down, so decided to do a loop of the col de la fountaine circuit and go up fountain drive twice on my MTB instead, also finally got back on the turbo this morning after 3 weeks away from it, form has dropped a bit so kinda glad no Palace last night! Cruising aong on dutch bikes in the Netherlands doesn't really make good training I'm afraid, alot of the time free wheeling to keep pace with the children, 30 miles in about 7 hours! (still Aoife is only just turning 7 years old).
