Woopee, no Tesco!

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Woopee, no Tesco!

Just seen that apparently Tesco have pulled their store plans so the P613 stays. Not going to do many 10s next year but definitely getting down there for at least one after the times a few posted down there this year.

DC lovers with a downhill start start wooping and a hollerin'.

The 10th of May 2008 has to go down as one of the best Agreeable TT's ever with John Lovell and MR PVT.

This float day will be remembered for years. What a day :D

I'll be back there for more and hopefully with a full squadron.

Round up a posse of on-form testers and see if the club team record goes.

So a 10 route has survived?

Oops, well spotted Sean :D .
The joy is because I didn't get there this year and it is a fast 10 course with a big ol' downhill start, or so I'm led to believe, and not too far away.

I may give this a go in 09. 10s are not my bag, a lot of prep for not a lot of riding. That said I fancy another crack @ winning the SCCU 10 h,cap so as long as the P61wossname is later I'll have a pop for a good time

Bearing in mind that the national 10 is on an H course next year this might be a good event to get a fast time on if you fancy riding the National. I think if I am correct that the qualifying times for Nationals are taken only from the January of that year.

I think the selection for national championships is done on the line 6 time (current & previous season) rather than the line 1 time (current & last three seasons). There's also a caveat that times from club events don't count.

Next year's 10 championship is on 24 May with a closing date of 28 Apr, so the only events on the P613 course before that are on 28 March & 18 April, the second of which is a middle-markers event restricted to riders slower than 22:30 in the last three seasons.

However, good news for those chasing a fast time is that there events on the E2/10, Q10/19 and F20/10 all before the closing date. And if you don't mind a 500 mile round trip, the V718 and L1015 too.
