Surrey League Beginners Races

Just a quick note to say the Surrey League beginners races have started - as of last Saturday.

There will be one this Saturday at MOD Chertsey - basically for 3rds, 4ths and women.
I will be going plus a few other people from the club (Jackie MS and Ben) and maybe a few others.
The final one will be on 5/3 at Hillingdon.
It would be good to see a few ACC shirts on the course.

also, MOD is one of the best courses around, and because its a tank course, its soooooooooooooo wide!!!!

if your looking for a first race, i say make it this one!!!

Sean, if you are in need of a pair of wheels why don't you ask someone if you can borrow a pair. Or why not ask the shop you bought the bike from to give you a pair to use while you wait for yours.

What do you ride Shimano or Campag and do you need 8, 9 or 10 speed. I can certainly lend you a set of wheels if you ride Campag 10 speed. If this is holding you back to coming on the club run etc then let me know and I will see what I can russle up.

If you drive you could always come to mine before the club run and take my training wheels and I can use my racing wheels. I am sure you would find many people in the club willing to lend you wheels to get you going.
