MOD Chertsey: E/1/2/3 h/cap - Sun 22nd Feb

Anyone else planning on going down for this? Rob W is looking to do the 4ths just before, and I might head down and do the handicap. It's run the same as the surrey league ones, so if we get some of our big 3rd cat engines down there's an outside chance we could stay away..

Sorry, but you won't stay away, expect a decent group of Elites and 1sts to turn up to blow away the cobwebs. This has been the way in recent years. A lot of people will be getting itchy feet. Also, if you race, expect bad riding, remember its an ealy season race and everyones all keen!

Cheers Adam, fair point. I spose it's the first chance most will get to stretch their legs. I've only raced there once, which was in fact my first ever race 2yrs back. Was in Dynamo colours at the time and got taken out as we entered the final straight, so it doesn't hold good memories for me.. I think a few ACC went down too.

I do really like the handicap format though so will see how I feel at the weekend. Will be the end of a hard 3 week block and am already feeling a little jaded <get's his excuses in early>
