Eastway tonight (18th Aug)

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

I'll be there to collect my two trophies & take advantage of the FREE buffet put on by the organisers :D

The race isn't a league race tonight... it's cash on the line + the odd prime.

Hey Tim well done yesterday!. I think you rode intelligently and it was wise not to sprint off my wheel and nick the second prime. Perhaps I'll return the favour and give you a nice leadout in tomorrow's club race. It 'll cost you more than a fiver though...So what's the plan for tomorrow - attack from the gun taking Marek, Simon, Brian, John, Tony, Rob, Sylv, Philip and all the other club racers and with us?... As I mentioned to you before, Eastway's not quite as tough as Palace but if you don't stay switched on and hang back too much you'll get dropped. It was really good to see three other agreeables racing at Eastway yesterday- its normally just me. At one point we even formed our own four man train. Tomorrow's gonna be quite interesting... One person, who shall remain nameless, admitted that he'd specifically come out to Eastway yesterday to train for the club race at Hillingdon. Bring It on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice ride last night at Eastway ACC'ers, goo to see so many out in force!

You're right about Eastway being easier than Palace, but it's still a race & is only as hard as you make it!

Don't forget the Cyclos Uno Thursday series takes over from the TLI supporters league & I think they pay cold hard cash for placings in A & B.
Also the Sunday racing there is quite good, once again it's TLI & not BCF so no licence points.

See you round the traps
