Where is the start and what is the course for this TT please?

The normal gathering place is left again, up the hill and in the [url=http://maps.google.co.uk/?ie=UTF8&ll=51.209932,-0.325996&spn=0.001127,0.002838&t=h&z=19]carpark on the right[/url]. The start is where the southern end of Spooks Hill meets the A24.

Everyone please note the following from the RTTC South London District handbook (2011) :
1) we have permission to use 30 second intervals for this event, although we are not intending to.
2) You must wear a helmet which meets an approved safety standard.
3) Please have a working rear led light fitted to your bike.
4) The field is now full as we should only have 20 riders for this early event .

Phil Nash will be timing riders out.
Tim Coales will be timing in.
Joyce Smith will look after sign on/take payments (£3).

FYI, £1 of the entry fee is the RTTC levy, £2 goes towards the Handicap prizes

Please DO NOT PARK on SPOOK HILL any closer to the start than the Fire/Emergency HQ - use the NT car park up the hill by the church.
Parking close to the start causes congestion (it is a bus route), endangers riders waiting for the start, and annoys the neighbours - any of these things could ultimately lead to loss of the course!

URGENT!!

Jon - please note Epsom CC is scheduled to race on the same course at the same time tonight as you guys!!! This was picked up by Epsom via the London South Website and apparently "ACC has been notified" and Epsom think you have re-scheduled to last Tuesday!!

Please contact Epsom CC ASAP

Unfortunately, I don't make a habit of studying the LS District handbook in fine detail!

I don't know who, if anyone, Epsom contacted at Addiscombe CC, but the message obviously didn't get through!
We have 23 riders coming down for 19:30, so I suggest we go at 30 second intervals, we should then be through for Epsom to go off from 19:45 as per handbook. Should make for an interesting finish!

I'll be putting signs out from 18:30, so I'll kindly leave them out until both events are finished.
