I'm New to racing???

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Nick,

Further info on the Hillingdon intro to racing can be found at http://www.londoncyclesport.com/news_2005/sl_05_ld.html

Expect to pay £10 for most Surrey League races entered in advance via Paul Tunnell. Entry on the line (EOL) can be £15 provided spaces still remain.

Rob, see you at the Jaunts, IOW and Box Hill

Hi Nick, I'm glad to hear you you're gonna try racing! We need more guys racing at ADDISCOMBE. A few people I know started racing at Hillingdon last year in the beginners series. Its a nice gentle introduction to racing with mostly other novice racers. I don't think the races are longer than about thirty minutes and it will be `dual carriageway pace'.In January last year I got dropped on the dual carriageway and still made it to 3rd cat by April. If I can do it, you can do it.Good luck dude!!

PS don't listen to Merek! Hillingdon is fine
