Interclub TT vs NP - 5th July 2011

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

[quote="Argy"]I am probably going to ride down with Iliya in any case, but can you please provide the address for this TT? :)
Thanks mate

Course GS/335
Start in mouth of Waterhouse Lane at its westernmost junction with A25. Left and follow A25 through Bletchingley and over motorway bridge to junction with Coopers Hill Road. Left and follow Coopers Hill Road under railway and motorway bridges. Continuing south, Coopers Hill Road leads into Prince of Wales Road, which then becomes Dayseys Hill and finally Rookery Hill. Follow Rookery Hill to T-junction with Chapel Road. Left into Normans Road which leads into Scott's Hill. Follow Scott's Hill northwards past Outwood Mill. Continue northwards, now in Outwood Lane, to finish at 30mph signs at top of hill on both sides of the road shortly before first houses and approximately 530 yards before T-junction with A25 in Bletchingley.

P.S. Waterhouse Lane is just off the A25 between Godstone & Bletchingley.

This morning I raced on my bike to catch up Serge who was in his car, and asked him if he could make it – unfortunately he can’t. Should be good though with the numbers we have. Went for a lap yesterday – managed the whole downhill on the aero bars :D

is this a hilly course? i'm wondering coz i have a tt bike (that i got cheap and have never raced on) and i don't know if this is the course for me to try it out on? or should i just chuck on some aero bars on my road bike. seems a shame to have this tt bike sitting in my flat and not use it when i have the chance....
