6th Aug: Dunsfold Aerodrome/ 3rds

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

There is also a 4th cat race at 9.30 which I'm planning on riding.

I haven't ridden the course before but I believe it's round the outside of the airfield so pretty flat and a bit exposed.

I should be down there for the third's race. The course is flat, even flatter than Goodwood if you thought that was possible. I have only raced there once, earlier this year, but it was quite windsweep then.

Multimap has the closest station as Witley, just under five miles from the circuit (no doubt as the crow flys so add another one or two).

Thinking about riding the 4th cat race. Chris S is thinking about it also.

Rode the handicap last night on a flattish course at newchapel.

Was very fast but managed to hold on to the 4th and only got dropped at the sprint. It was so fast and my 50/13 would not go any faster.

Oh and there is a 1/2 race if Tim wants to come down!
