Surrey League Handicap Thursday 24 May

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Surrey League Handicap Thursday 24 May

Anyone doing this?

I may be seeking a lift home  as it is quite a long ride back.

On the other hand......

Adam,
Wivelsfield is between Haywards Heath and Brighton. On the last Brighton ride, we rode along the top part of the course.
If you head down the B212, then turn Left signposted Wivelsfield Green at a mini roundabout just before a petrol station, the hall is on a turning on the right by the cricket green about 1/2 mile along that road.

The circuit is a bit lumpy and rough surface in places. No probs for Zipps though.

See you there.

Paul H and myself are gonna be there tonight,

We've never rode a handicap race before so looking forward to it.

Paul T do you need a lift down from Addiscombe or are you going to have a warm up ride down there after work :)

Paul "I don't normally check to see if I've got a bottle before doing a 100 mile ride" T

I've found another bladder for the camelbak which actually does have a valve on. I'll bring it on Sunday unless you want to pick it up before.

that's great, thanks. I've got a bottle of water :D but it doesn't fit in the cage :( so I'll carry it in my pocket - not so good for riding a handicap though
