So as fast as Stu became a non-starter for the Junior event, it looks like i may well take the start of the senior 3/4s race.
4 Stages, 4 Days. Sounds simple huh!

Headquarters
Ardingly College, College road, Ardingly, Haywards Heath, RH17 6SQ where there will be showers and changing facilities. Refreshments will also be available.
We will be in the OA room, which is on your right hand side as you enter the college.
Ardingly College is a well used sports college for the area and there will be other activities going on so please be respectful to other users.
HQ will be open from 5pm on Friday and 8am sat/sun/mon.
Prize presentation
will take place after the last stage in the HQ. Please try and make an effort to stay and receive your prize or applaud the winners.
The presentation of the leaders jerseys will take place after each stage, time permitting, or immediately before the next stage.
Signing on and numbers
will be at the HQ. You must sign on for each stage 30 mins before, you may hold onto your number after stages 2 and 3. Licenses will be required to be left, these will be held until the end of the event.
Please note that your number for the time trial is not you road stage number.
Race Service.
Race service will be provided to cover spare wheels, any other mechanical problems will not be catered for (but we won’t leave you stranded).
Could riders with even numbers please provide a front wheel and riders with odd numbers a rear.
Any team wanting to have there car in the convoy as a service car must first obtain the permission of the commisaire and be prepared to act as a neutral service aswell.
Feeding
There will be no feeding on Stage 1 TT.
Stage 2, just after the finish line.
Stage 3, Just after finish line.
Stage 4, on B2026 at top of hill just before jct with Black hill. (19m approx)
On B2188 at top of climb, just before jct with B2026 (29m approx)
On Priory road after leaving Forest Row.
No feeding from the right please.
Please be aware of the following.
A couple of right turns which we have to negotiate on the way from the HQ to the circuit on stage 3, these will be marshalled but please be ready to stop if required.
Riding through Horsted Keynes village on the way to the circuit on stage 3.
Riding through Ardingly, Sharpthorne and West Hoathly villages on stage 2.
We have worked very hard to get these circuits and the use of Ardingly College. Anyone who is seen or heard swearing or using abusive language will be disqualified from the race.

Team Prize
The first 3 riders overall on time from each team will count for the team prize.
Stage 1 - Prologue, individual Time trial (first rider off 7pm)
Start in college road just outside entrance to the college. Proceed toward Lindfield village, turn at roundabout and retrace to finish outside college. Distance 4 miles
Winner will be awarded leaders yellow jersey.
Prizes will be awarded to first 3 finishers.
Stage 2 (start 9.30)
Ardingly circuit. Circuit starts on Park lane between B2028 and Horsted Keynes. Fork left just before horsted Keynes onto Waterbury Hill (long drag). Follow to T-junction, where turn left through Sharpthorne (hill) and West Hoathly (hill) villages (care needed) to T-junction. Turn left onto B2028, pass showground (sprint point), through Ardingly village, turn left into Park lane opposite Grange farm. Climb hill and follow round left bend to the finish line.
Lap distance 12.7 miles
Racing will be de neutralised once you turn onto the B2028 at top of College road.
3rd/4th’s will complete 4 laps = 54 miles
Sprint competition – sprint point will be just before Ardingly showground each lap. Points will
be awarded 3, 2, 1.
K.O.M competition – will be on the finish line with 3, 2 & 1 laps to go.
Points will be awarded 3, 2, 1.
Prizes will be for first 3 places on stage finish.
Stage 3 (start 9.30)
Dane hill circuit. Circuit starts just before Danehill village. (race will be neutralised to the start point) Proceed to Danehill village where turn left onto A275. Continue to Chelwood Gate where turn left at the Red Lion pub onto birchgrove road (sprint point) (caution, narrow road). Continue to Horsted Keynes turning left just before before the village. Continue to finish finish on hill entering Danehill village. Lap distance 5.3 miles
3rd/4th’s will complete 9 laps = 48 miles
Sprint competition – sprint point will be on Birchgrove road, just before Horsted Keynes.
On laps 1, 3, 5, 7.
Points will be awarded 3, 2, 1 each time.
K.O.M competition – will be on the finish line with 8, 6, 4 & 2 laps to go.
Points will be awarded 3, 2, 1 each time.
Prizes will be for first 3 places on stage finish.
Stage 4 (start 9.30)
Leave HQ turning left onto College road,
At T-jct, turn right onto B2028.
Turn left onto Stonecross lane.
At T-Jct, turn left onto Keysford lane.
Turn right onto Sugar lane.
Continue onto Treemans road.
At T-Jct, turn left onto Monteswood lane.
Turn left onto Sloop lane.
At T-Jct, turn left onto Butterbox lane.
Continue onto Blackbrook lane. (sprint point)
Continue onto Warrs hill lane.
At T-Jct, turn right (care) onto A275.
At mini roundabout, turn left onto A272.
Through Newick village (pedestrian lights)
At roundabout, turn left onto A22 (care)
At next roundabout, turn right (care) onto B2026
Turn left onto Lampool road (sprint point). Still on B2026, proceed up climb (K.O.M).
Feeding point.
Turn right onto Black hill. B2188, Descend through forest.
Reach start of Ladies mile circuit (at junction with ladies mile) and continue straight on (22 miles)
At T-Jct, turn left onto Withyham road. B2110
Turn left onto Ladies mile (sprint point)
(Complete circuit at T-Jct.) Jct with B2188 (26 miles)
At T-Jct, turn right onto Black hill. B2188 and climb up through forest (K.O.M).
Feeding point.
Turn right onto B2026 towaerd Chuck Hatch.
Continue onto Cotchford hill & Jacks hill, still on B2026.
At T-Jct turn left (care) onto Gallipot hill. B2110.
Continue onto cat street, Shephards hill & Hartfield road, entering Forest Row village.
At mini roundabout, turn right (care) onto Lewes road (A22)
At mini roundabout, turn left onto Priory road. (K.O.M)
Continue onto Plawhatch road & Top road.
Through Sharpthorne & west Hoathly villages.
At T-Jct, turn left onto Selsfield road.
Finish outside Ardingly Showground. (46.5 miles)
