Racing the SCCU 50?

Are you thinking about starting racing? Ask about future events in here, find out what you can expect at them and who else is going so you can scrounge a lift off someone rather than riding the 30 miles to get there yourself!

Racing the SCCU 50?

Hi folks, been agonising over this one for a bit but....

As things stand we have no helpers for the 28th June 50 yet. So if you have entered this one and things stay as they are two of you will have to back off and help instead. I really hope this doesn't happen, I think it would be a shameful reflection on the club.

I will send a newsletter out today/tomorrow pushing hard for helpers. This event got a mention from Monty last week before the club run started and I'm sure it will get mentioned this week too. If any of the potential racers are on the CR this weekend it might be time to get a bit "in yer face". Works for me I'm sad to say. I'm not available to directly press gang.

Sorry again, crap note to have to write but I thought I should warn you in case you'd booked a PB for this day :(

Snoop

PS if any of our road racing club mates read this and haven't yet put their hand up, please do. Don't forget that team ACC has successfully delivered a Cp crit, the ACC RR and a SL handicap so far this year, with another CP crit and the club RR to come.

Yes I've entered.

Pull 2 names out the hat. It's club rules that you help out with duties during the season and everyone has had more than enough warning and opportunities to volunteer for something that might suit them better.

I have also entered. I agree with Andrew pull names from a hat, but then I have done my duty several times this season and plan to later in the season aswell so I'm safe

If I get over to evening 10 on Tuesday I will see what I can do

Well done Snoop, and thank you to the helpers. I know it can be a pain but I can assure you it is very appreciated.
