now now

I kinda like TS - didn't care much for covering up and lying about it all. I might personally have the barest smidge of respect for the sport today if people like three times caught cokehead Boonen wasn't still allowed to peddle (ha ha geddit) his ambiguity, lies etc. Three toots and you're out!

Whatever one's opinion of Tom Boonen, or indeed any living person, it probably isn't wise to post libellous comments on an open forum.

Got to give this guy the respect he deserves he rode on a level playing field with the worst of them and did us proud.
My dad always remembered him as a class act who could pull away and win with ease which made him give up and buy a motorbike.

Where do I buy one, I might get one for the old man, that will make him laugh in his old age.

[quote="marco"]OOC test by the Flemish Community (no I dont know who they are exactly either!)

They do the tests at amateur stuff, and also pro kermesses' as well as OOC stuff. They're influential enough to prevent many people starting races when it becomes clear they will be testing post race. :?

I've got the Fotheringham book on Simpson and it's an interesting (and sad) read. I wonder whether we'd be hearing so much about doping/testing in any sport had he not died.
