I just mean that if you wear through a set of tyres every few months, you have to consider the price of you're tyres, thats all.

I don't really have much loyalty as far as tyres are concerned, that said, if I have the choice, I will almost always go for Vittoria. But ultimately it comes down to how much I'm getting them for. Right now I'm fortunate enough to be supported by a couple of guys who somehow get me exceptionally good tryes for exceptionally cheap prices. That said, that doesn't mean I can afford to ride on Vittoria Open Corsa's all the time, believe me, if the budget was there, I would! Thats when cheaper rubber comes into play, plus, it makes you really apreciate your racing tyres.

What makes you so in favour of Conti GP4000s, Marek?

[quote="Andrew G"]I don't see the point in scrimping on any tyres, they're the only thing in contract with the road after all.

Next time you fall off, sue your tyres for breach of contract.

[quote="Andrew G"]I put decent tyres on any wheels Adam. I want something that grips well and doesn't puncture too often whatever riding I'm doing. I don't see the point in scrimping on any tyres, they're the only thing in contract with the road after all.

Vittoria tubs for racing 8) .

Agree with Andrew on this point, I'm ok with replacing Open Corsa's Evo Cx's whenever they need replacing. I guess that would change if I were doing some serious miles... Wouldn't mind some views on Zipp 303 (2010) tubs which I would use for summer riding including (some) club rides, chain gangs, Hillingdon and sportives. It looks like the additonal 2mm width on the 303's means that ZIPP's own Tangente are required (although they are made by Vittoria). Anyone got these or know someone that has?

Well...
The red ones definitely lost.
The green one got its first representation.
The blue and yellow ones got to form the government, and the BNP didn't get any seats anywhere, so the black one can claim a moral victory.

Does that help?
