Olympic RR may go via Box Hill

Postby Rogan » Thu May 20, 2010 9:43 am

Just read in Cycling Weekly that Box Hill features on the redesigned proposed Olympic road course and the men's race would do it twice by taking in the Ball Buster loop! It would be a good time to lobby the National Trust (I think they own Zig Zag Rd) to get them to resurface it... Since the route has very few hills there could be a break on Zig Zag ! Would be interested to see what time the best riders manage. 5.01 is the record I believe(?)
