SCCU Helpers required please - 25/7

Dear one and all, there are 2 upcoming SCCU events at which we need to provide marshals and I would be grateful for your help and any offers you can make. Please contact me if you can assist.

SCCU 50 is on the 27th June
We need to supply 2 marshals for this. It is an early start, at 6am first rider, but the course is based on 2 laps of the Horsham 25 course (where the ACC 25 is held) so you'll probably get to see everyone twice. HQ is at Broadbridge Heath.

NOW FILLED THANKS

SCCU 100 is on 25th July
We need to supply a minimum of 2 marshals for this but the organiser would be extremely grateful if we could manage 4. It is also an early start, at 6am first rider.
The course is based on 2 laps of the Horsham 25 course (similar as above) and then carries on South to Washington before doing 2 and a half laps of a quieter circuit - Along the A283 then up the B2135 back to the A24. HQ is at Ashington.
This event does take longer but can be a good day out with plenty of riders making their way round at least twice on each of the circuits.
If you would prefer a particular location - on the second circuit or the first - then let me know and the organiser will try and accomodate where possible.

Thank you very much for any help you can offer, and this will count towards your Addiscombe helper commitment. As such the usual fiver to help cover your costs is payable and I can pass that over after the event at the HQ or if you wish to shoot straight off then I'll get it to you asap afterwards.

Thanks in advance,

Andrew.

Put me down for the 50. Young Chloe will help out too; she's done it before, so if we can be on one of the spots needing two bodies, she can actually earn her fiver. (I expect she'll spend it on Lady Gaga downloads, but what can you do, eh? )

Thanks Mike and Chloe. I'll ask the organiser if you can be together as say marshal and checker so you aren't apart on a big RAB.

Andrew, I can do the 50. Not sure I'd be able to manage the whole 100 though unless pushing or at a marshal point that could "knock off early".

Thanks Ivor. I'm waiting for the organiser to get back to me about the 50 as that may be covered.

With the 100 you could knock off earlier if you are on the first section of the course (which is basically 2 laps of the Broadbridge 25 course). Then you'd be able to go once everyone had moved south of Southwater on to the second circuit. I'm sure the organiser will be able to do this as he said he would try and accomodate requests, and that part of the course needs more marshals anyway. I'll get back to you.

Would someone else be able to do an earlier slot with Ivor? Would mean you were home much earlier as you'd finish around 10 to 10.30ish.

Thanks.

All sorted for the 50, please can anyone help with the 100? An early start with Ivor and you can be home pretty early and keep most of your day.

A kind chap called Alan spoke to me straight after my plea at CSS today and has offered his services so, along with Ivor, we should have now met our commitment for the 100.

If anyone else is able to help then the organiser will be very grateful as the 100 uses two circuits and covers a bit more road than say a 25 and may mean that some of the old school regulars don't have to double up.

Ta.
