Croydon Animal Samaritans Open Day this Sunday

Short noice but good family fun and all for a good cause - bric a brac, tombolas, refreshments, lots of kitties and some mutts, etc - this Sunday afternoon 1pm - 4pm

Dizzy kittens when they come out of the pet tombola should make a great YouTube clip. Or isn't that how the pet tombola works?

Well, I went along and supported them.

Come back with two prizes from the pet tombola (one dog toy - that can go to my brother for his mutt - and one cat prize of bowl, tin of food and ball with bell in it), a bottle of lime vodka and one of lucozade (anyone drink this stuff - either bottle?) from the bottle tombola and a bottle of montilla sherry from another stall. All I had was two goes at the bottle tombola and one at the pet one (£1 a time)...

No dizzy kitties in the tombola but there were lots lovely ones of all ages looking for homes, some who'd been there for months
