Fixed wheel bike

Postby garcox » Tue Jan 03, 2006 12:30 pm

Hi Everyone, i have a 1954 H.E Mills ? Framed bike that at present i use daily for work. It's a purpose built track frame, was built for the 1954 Helsinki olympics, i do have the original head badge with the olympic rings,(not attached to the frame) It's proved reliable, but recently, the bottom bracket, on the right hand side seems to have become loose, i have a feeling the threads stripped. I am moving abroad, and have some other bikes i will be taking. If anyone wants to take it of my hands as a bit of a project, let me know, i also have the dynohub front wheel which i dont use, but you're welcome to that as well, Cheers , Gary.

I'd been interested in this if Kieran isn't.

Let me know what happens!

Cheers

Gary, I'm 5' 8" (173cm) so would it be too big for me? if so I'll give up my claim.

Well, I'm over 6ft, so if it's too big for Kieran, I guess I'd have to pull out as well.

On the other hand, this sounds interesting, and I'm not too fussy!
