STOLEN BIKES

Postby Kate » Sat Aug 14, 2010 10:32 am

Unfortunately Dad (Jeff) had the following bikes stolen from the garage last night. We know the chances of finding them are slim but please keep your eyes peeled. Many thanks, The Hewetts

1 red Specialized S Works Transition TT - 56cm
1 Black and Blue Specialized Roubaix - 58cm
1 White Specialized Dolce Elite - 56 cm
1 Dark red Specialized Dolce Comp - 51 cm
1 Grey Cube MTB - 22inch

Pants! Bad news. I read recently of a site where you can search for bikes on sale. A home made jobbie pics and stuff. Searched googley woogley and can't find it, hope other brighter sparks here can help.

Insurance wise - too late for you (hope yours is good) but a reminder of how good More Than were when my bike shed was recently plundered.

Good luck with the recovery

Sorry to hear that Kate. Check the usual places like ebay and gumtree but might aso be worth a trip to Brick Lane on with a couple of large chums on Sunday where a lot of nicked bikes apparently end up.
There is also a section on bikeradar.com for stolen bikes.

Has a link to the Bikeshed London site and is worth having a look on.
