Bumbling Along!!

Postby CaroleH » Fri Sep 17, 2010 1:29 pm

Hi Guys

Still in training for this Half Marathon which I'm doing in October in aid of Honeypot - a wonderful charity for young carers!!!

I've took to running around Richmond Park with baby jogger, Florrie and a bottle of oxygen!!!! All seems to be going well!!!

Now here's the deal, Ivor (my young carer) has declared that I have to run dressed as a Bumble Bee - the Bee is the symbol of the charity!!!! So if you lot want to see me run round London dressed as a bee (and trust me, it won't happen again) then dig deep and sponsor me!!!! 10% of what your bike is worth would be fab - but I'll settle for anything!!!! Please sponsor me - I hate asking!!!! All money I raise will go to the charity, nothing will go to the organisers cos I've paid my own entry fee!!!

I really, really, really appreciate it!! Thank you

Was scouring the internet for bumble bee costumes earlier!!! Very interesting selection!!!! Many consisted of corsettes and suspenders - and there's me thinking of innocent thoughts of a bumble bee costume!!!!!!

Thank you guys for the donations that I have received, it really, really is appreciated. The charity is a wonderful cause and gives pleasure to children between the ages of 5 and 12!!!!

Shame it clashes with the Bec hill climb or I'd have come and cheered you on, especially if you're now going to be wearing...

Surely Florrie should be dressed as a larva

Sorry - I'll sign up tomorrow when I'm on a faster connection than my old home dial-up...
