Accident

Postby huw williams » Tue Jan 17, 2006 7:11 pm

Word has just reached me from Steve Cave that Simon H was involved in a serious accident this morning just after leaving his house. Apparently he went through the windscreen of a car and has sustained a back injury. More details when I get them but I'm sure you all join me in wishing him as fast a recovery as possible.

And after what has already been a bad winter for accidents, just a reminder to all members to go carefully out there.

Get well soon big fella.
Seems to be a load of stuff happening at the moment, young peter went off on the sunday ride and smashed his bike up a bit, he is fine however as he knows how to fall courtesy of his martial arts training.

Steve h's accident

Postby nigel w » Wed Jan 18, 2006 12:58 am

Desolate to hear of Steve's accident especially as it sounds so like Nigel's. what with him going through a car windscreen. It brought back horrendous memories. I could not do other than post this message that he makes a speedy and full recovery. You guys were all so supportive of Nige! But the marvels of modern medicine...Nigel has healed amazingly and we wish the same for Steve.
Is Steve in hospital? We hold him him and his family in our prayers.

I think that Simon is in Mayday, I am not sure if he will be let out today or not. Simon has broken some ribs and has fractured one of his vertebrae. Is talk that he will be in a body brace for 6 weeks.

Lets hope he makes a speedy recovery, such a shame that it happens just prior to the season especially as he was starting to go really well.

Get well soon Simon.

Cheers
