I get the same problem at home and am on NTL too. Haven't got a clue why.

Same with me, no problem at work unavailable at home. I'm on Tiscali broadband.

My computer said the site was vulnerable to hijack last week and therefore blocked it :?

It may be that your anti spyware at home has decided that it is a dodgy site and put a block on it?.

web based digest? any reason why I dont get this :?:

I seem to get very few problems, it's rare that the forum seems unavailable.
Work - don't know provider
Home - BT Yahoo broadband

They all have to use a BT line so maybe a BT account gets preferential treatment to NTL etc?

I've also heard that connections can depend on the "pipe" that your account uses which I think depends on where you live and the age of your account. I've had BT broadband since very early on so maybe a newer account gets a worse service? Not much of a selling point if that's the case.

FWIW i am on ntl and there are times when no ACC site is availiable- however there are people posting away on the site and i cant get on it, i reckon it must be a local prob or sumpting like that.

Couldn't access it from home (Pipex) last Sunday - server may just have been down. No problems at work

It mysteriously came back on for me at home after being unavailable for 5 days. I really think we need to change the provider. I would be willing to pay a supplement for something that works reliably.

Marco,
I will speak to monty 2mo and get him to bring it up again at next committee meeting as i am in majorca, i got the feeling that it was a pretty unanimous decision that we should have a reliable website/ forum as it was something we took great pride in having (and still do). I remember DD talking at the club dinner a few years ago saying we were the first club to "use the power of the internet"- i guess most people find us via the web, i know i did - it was you on the C+ forum- now i,m on here as much as time allows- shame i dont do IT or i could help out more with it.

Doing very well Thanks Ian, he got a new under shirt that works very similar to a gortex jacket for his birthday and some playing gloves to keep him warm on these winter days, being minus 2 degress last week when we got to training we thought we had better do something.
See you all 2mo.
